A Movement Skills Programme for Children with Special Needs
Children on the Move is a movement and play therapy programme designed to improve each individual child’s cognitive processing, perceptual motor skills, and sensory integration abilities. The programme engages padegoically appropriate approaches, systematic instructional learning methods, and positive communication techniques to provide children with special needs extra guidance and assistance.
The programme will benefit children with:

Children with behavioral and learning disabilities usually have underlying co-ordination, movement and sensory difficulties. Motor proficiency needs to be addressed as it can hinders academic learning, daily life functioning, motor development, self-concept, and social skills.
