Karyn’s forte lies in the business development, sales and marketing expertise that she has garnered working in the Singapore beauty, wellness, retail, food & beverage, and services industry for at least 22 years. Harnessing her diverse industry knowledge and experience, Karyn subsequently joined A.S. Louken Consulting, a member of the Louken Group Asia, in 2005, as a Senior Project Manager, project managing brand and retail consulting projects for clients based in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Through her decade long career in brand and retail consulting, Karyn rose through the ranks leading project teams, spearheaded business development activities for the firm, and managed overall revenue and profitability of the award winning A.S. Louken, in brand research, brand strategy, internal branding and brand activation. Karyn’s network of business and consulting clients extensively covers Southeast Asia, China and Singapore, indicating her wide channel of influence and reach.

Prior to joining the consulting field, Karyn headed the Retail PR, Retail Marketing and Retail Corporate Business Development for the award winning Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts. Karyn also led the product development team of St Gregory Spas, owned by listed UOB Hotel Plaza Limited, and was a key driver in the launch of the biggest theme based city spa St Gregory Marine Spa (1996), St Gregory Javana Spa (1997) and St Gregory Therapeutic Spa (1999). Karyn was also a founding member of the team from Raffles Hotels & Resorts that developed the Amrita Spas concept in 2000.

With a keen interest in advancing positive ageing, health and wellness in Singapore, Karyn passionately believes that everyone can embrace and be empowered to make changes in their lives, instead of falling back on old habits, excuses and the status quo.
